Perspective on...Letters From An American Farmer
Letters From An American Farmer is observations by J. Hector St. John de Crevecoeur on the new formation of the American society. Throughout various letters, he compares the American and British societies. For example in Letter IX (Letter 9), J. Hector St. John de Crevecoeur describes his views on slavery and gives a very detailed description on Charles-Town. His views on slavery and it's place in American society at that time is very different for people who lived in the South at that time. I respect and agree his view and believe even though the South's economy depended on slavery it's not the right course of action.

My First Experience Blogging.
Ummmmm, this is my first ever blog entry and I honestly don't have a clue of what I'm doing. I'm pretty much learning as I go along, so I hope no one judges me on my first few blog posts. So for my first blog post I just want to share one of my favorite quotes...
"Savages we call them, because their manners differ from ours, which we think the perfection of civility; they think the same of theirs. " -Benjamin Franklin
This quote is from Benjamin Franklin's Remarks Concerning the Savages of North America. It was writtten in 1784. It's a pretty dope ironic piece of literature from one of the most succesful people in American History.
